Changes to USA import and duties

From August 29th, 2025 there will be a change to the US import rules that will affect all orders shipped into the United States of America.

What's Happening?

Currently, when orders that are worth less than $800 are shipped into the US, import taxes and duties are not applied as your orders are covered by the "$800 de minimis exemption."

However, we have recently been notified that starting from August 29th, 2025 the $800 de minimis exemption will be completely removed. This means that every order shipped into the United States, no matter of its value will be subject to customs duties and taxes.

What Does This Mean for You?

Unfortunately, this means all shipments into the United States will have import taxes applied.

The quick and simple customs clearance for low-value items has will now end and all shipments will have to go through a more detailed process which will require more paperwork and duties calculations.

This is a signifigant change that will affect anyone shipping goods into the United States.

In light of these changes, we'll be re-routing all US orders to a tracked carrier service
